A Neighborhood with Room to Find Your Rhythm
Carolina Colours is a planned residential community in New Bern, North Carolina, where wooded surroundings, lakes and ponds, and thoughtfully designed neighborhoods help shape the setting. With a variety of home styles and neighborhood environments, the community offers options for buyers looking for a place that balances residential living with opportunities to stay active and connect with neighbors.
A central part of community life is the Carolina Colours Association, which provides shared amenities for property owners. These include the Pavilion, community swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, dog park, and playground, along with spaces and activities that encourage neighbors to gather. The Pavilion serves as a hub for community events and activities, while recreational amenities offer ways to enjoy time outdoors and take part in an active lifestyle. <escape>Source: Carolina Colours Association</escape>
Golf is another defining feature of the area, but it is important for buyers to understand how it works. Carolina Colours Golf Club operates separately from the homeowners association. Living in Carolina Colours does not automatically include golf-club membership, and association membership alone does not provide golf privileges. The club offers its own membership options, and prospective golfers should contact the club directly to confirm current membership and playing arrangements. <escape>Source: Golf Club membership information</escape>
Located within New Bern, Carolina Colours also puts residents within reach of the city’s shopping, dining, services, historic downtown, and other local attractions. The right fit depends on more than the community name or its amenities, so buyers should explore the particular neighborhood, home, association requirements, and costs that apply to a property. Some neighborhoods within Carolina Colours have additional sub-association dues, making it worthwhile to review those details before purchasing.
